The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has a network of 281 officially designated overseas Posts. It does not currently have a permanent diplomatic presence in the countries listed below. However, the list includes countries in which we have officially designated Posts which are temporarily suspended in country and our mission to that country operates elsewhere for political or operational reasons (Afghanistan, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, Yemen) or have diplomatic staff who are not in permanent residence (Haiti, Burundi, Gabon). The UK continues to exchange and recognise licences originating from all European Economic Area (EEA) countries. Arrangements are in place with all EEA countries for the recognition and exchange of the vast majority of GB licences.
Outside of the EEA, mutual driving licence exchange agreements are in place with the following designated countries:

At this time, the UK Government has not entered into discussions with the Republic of San Marino for the negotiation of an Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement.

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will provide a timeline for the completion of the double taxation agreement between the UK and the Republic of San Marino.

There are ongoing discussions between the UK and San Marino about a range of issues, including a double taxation treaty.
Double taxation treaties promote trade and investment and provide tax certainty, including for companies which gives them the confidence to invest.
