Question to the Department for Business and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business and Trade, what recent progress she has made on an agreement on the promotion and reciprocal protection of investments between the UK and the Republic of San Marino; and if she will make a statement.

The Government welcomes foreign investment into the UK, including from the Republic of San Marino.

At this time, the UK Government has not entered into discussions with the Republic of San Marino for the negotiation of an Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement.
