To ask Her Majesty's Government what support they give to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.

The UK supported the establishment of the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention in 1991 and has subsequently voted in favour of the renewal of the Working Group’s mandate. The UK cooperates with the Working Group when required, as it does with all UN human rights mechanisms.
