Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask His Majesty's Government what progress they are making in relation to plans for His Majesty's Revenue & Customs to engage with the business sector to provide information on clarification of the definition of goods at risk arising from the Windsor Framework.

HMRC has engaged with businesses regularly in respect of the arrangements for moving goods into Northern Ireland, including through regular forums, for example, the Joint Customs Consultative Committee. Since the agreement of the Windsor Framework that engagement has continued and is now intensifying, in order to provide clarity and to help businesses prepare for forthcoming changes up until the full implementation of the green lane in October 2024.

Businesses should continue to use existing published guidance to support them to move their goods. All relevant guidance will be updated well in advance of the implementation of any changes to requirements.
