Question to the Department for International Development:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will consider admitting Lesotho to the Connecting Classrooms programme which is funded by the Department for International Development.

We currently have no plans to extend the operating footprint of Connecting Classrooms to Lesotho during the current phase of the programme, which runs from June 2015 to June 2018. However, schools in Lesotho can still access online resources and support through the British Council’s Schools Online service. This includes guidance and teaching materials, online teacher forums and access to online professional development modules.
