Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Her Majesty’s Government what estimate they have made of the cost of restricting pensions tax relief to basic rate tax relief only.

The cost of restricting pensions tax relief to basic rate tax relief only would depend on how any changes were implemented. The impacts on tax receipts would also be subject to behavioural effects.
