Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what representations they have made to the government of the United States on behalf of Kris Maharaj, a British citizen held in prison in Florida.

The Government has made numerous representations to the United States Government over a number of years on behalf of Mr Maharaj, most recently when our Ambassador to the US, Sir Kim Darroch wrote to the Attorney General of the United States, Jeff Sessions, on 13 February.
