Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure that Dr Fawaz Akhras, a British citizen, is able to return to the United Kingdom.

Any requests for assistance to help facilitate the return of British Nationals to the UK are considered with published policy, and applications may take longer during periods of high demand, or when further enquiries need to be made.
