Customs Declaration Services Programme

Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask His Majesty's Government when they expect the Customs Declaration Service for exports to be implemented; and whether that meets the original timetable.
This question was answered on 15th February 2023
All export declarations must be made through the Customs Declaration Service by 30 November 2023.
This had been due to implemented by 31 March 2023 but has been extended after feedback from the border industry highlighted that they would appreciate more time to help prepare their customers and undertake training with new software products. The extension has been welcomed by industry partners.
