Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what settlement they have reached with the BBC World Service for grant in aid funding after March 2022; and what impact they expect this will have on services, including (1) cuts, and (2) staff reductions.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office is committed to providing grant-in-aid funding for the BBC World Service through to 2025. The details of the settlement are still to be finalised.
