To ask His Majesty's Government whether the Competition and Markets Authority intends to publish their response to Ofgem's consultation on the market stabilisation charge considering its likely impact on switching penalties.

The Competition and Markets Authority (“CMA”) is an independent non-ministerial department. It is at the CMA’s discretion which consultations it responds to and whether it publishes its responses.
