Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask His Majesty's Government what consideration the flood and drought resilience taskforce has given to farmers as part of its assessment of national preparedness for potential flooding this winter.

The Flood and Drought Resilience Taskforce has given substantial consideration to farmers in assessing flood preparedness this winter through its annual assessment of preparedness for autumn and winter. The National Farmers Union, Tenant Farmers Association, Nature Friendly Farming Network, Country Land and Business Association are members of the Taskforce.
