Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask His Majesty's Government, in light of the consultation draft of the first environmental delivery plan for Norfolk, what assessment they have made of the effect of the proposed 2.05 per cent discount rate for levy proceeds over 100 years on the pricing of the Nature Restoration Levy relative to nutrient mitigation provided through established nature markets.

The draft Environmental Delivery Plan is currently subject to consultation. Further information on the approach to the discount rate for levy proceeds will be provided once the consultation concludes, either through the formal response to the consultation or subsequent communications.
