Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask His Majesty's Government, in light of the consultation draft of the first environmental delivery plan for Norfolk, whether they plan to publish the advice provided to Natural England which led it to conclude that the appropriate discount rate for levy proceeds over 100 years should be 2.05 per cent, when the 30-year gilt rate was 5.94 per cent on 5 October.

The draft Environmental Delivery Plan is currently subject to consultation. Further information on the approach to the discount rate for levy proceeds will be provided once the consultation concludes, either through the formal response to the consultation or subsequent communications.
