Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask His Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to provide alternative support to people whose residence is not in a council tax band that qualifies for a council tax rebate.
The Government recognised that some households which were not eligible for the core rebate scheme may also require support. That is why the Government provided councils with a £144 million discretionary fund to support any vulnerable household in their area, regardless of their council tax band.
