Question to the Department for Education:
To ask His Majesty's Government how many permanent officials in the Department for Education at Grade 7 and above have ever taught in a secondary school, sixth form college, or college of further education.

The information on staff teaching qualifications is not centrally held on the department’s HR system. Seeking the information across the department’s full workforce could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
