Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to tackle the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

We are using every diplomatic and humanitarian lever at our disposal to address the crisis, including doubling our humanitarian and development aid to Afghanistan and the region to a total of £286 million this year. We will be making further announcements shortly on how our funding will be allocated.
