All National Governing Bodies of Sport (NGBs) in receipt of public funding have been working closely with Sport England and/or UK Sport over the past few months to agree what they need to do to meet the requirements of the Code for Sports Governance.

NGBs had until 31 October to provide evidence of how they are complying with the requirements in the code. Sport England and UK Sport will be reviewing this evidence, and will continue to be rigorous in their monitoring of on-going compliance of NGBs going forward.

We have been clear that any organisations deemed to be non-compliant are at risk of having their funding removed.
