Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what discussions they have had with the European Commission in relation to alleged interference by the Polish government with the independence of the Polish judiciary.

Her Majesty's Government has had no direct dialogue with the European Commission on this issue. But when it has been discussed in the General Affairs Council, we have called for Poland and the Commission to engage in substantive, sustained and constructive dialogue in order to reach a mutually agreeable solution.
