High Speed One: Shareholders

Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask Her Majesty's Government which current shareholders of HS1 hold more than five per cent of the shares; and what changes to the shareholding have been made since the sale of shares by them and the government of France.

The Government auctioned the concession to operate the network in 2010, to HS1 Ltd. HS1 Ltd was owned by Borealis Infrastructure and the Canadian Teachers’ Pension Plan, two Canadian pension funds until it was sold in 2017.
