Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of (1) reports that the Prime Minister-designate of Lebanon and the President of Lebanon are yet to agree on the formation of the government of Lebanon’s cabinet, and (2) the political situation in Lebanon

This government continues to urge Lebanon's leaders to urgently form a government willing to implement the reforms needed to stabilise the economy and meet the basic needs of its citizens. The UK stands in support of the Lebanese people.
