Ramsgate Port: Channel Ferries

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government which ferries are planned to operate the Ramsgate–Ostend route from 30 March 2019; where and when they were built; whether they will conform to the latest Maritime and Coastguard Agency regulations applicable to roll-on roll-off ferries published after the MS Herald of Free Enterprise disaster; and what, if any, safety derogations they will be given.

Specific vessel arrangements are a matter for operators. All vessels must comply with all regulatory requirements that apply to them.
