Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask Her Majesty's Government (1) what percentage of the adult population, and (2) how many adults, in England are registered with a general practitioner.
The percentage of the adult population in England who are registered with a general practitioner is not held centrally.
The number of adults aged 18 or over on 1 December 2020 registered at a general practitioner practice in England was 48,313,398.
