Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what discussions they have had with counterparts in Europe regarding Eritrea’s candidacy for election to the Human Rights Council at the forthcoming UN General Assembly.

Her Majesty’s Government does not publicly declare its position with other States in regards elections for membership of the Human Rights Council. No discussions were had with other member states regarding Eritrea’s candidacy.
