Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many non-UK EU national nurses were employed by the NHS in each of the last five years.

NHS Digital publishes workforce statistics and the following table shows the number of non-United Kingdom European Union national nurses employed by the National Health Service in the last five years.


NHS Hospital and Community Health Services (HCHS): Qualified nurses and health visitors in NHS trusts and clinical commissioning groups in England by nationality grouping as at 31 March each specified year (headcount)
