The Department is committed to ensuring that measures are in place for supporting disabled passengers on the national rail network during and after the pandemic. All train and station operators are still required to adhere to their Accessible Travel Policy obligations. The Rail Delivery Group has updated its guidance for train and station operators, so rail workers can remain safe without building barriers to travel for disabled passengers. The Office of Rail and Road will continue to monitor train and station operator’s compliance with their Accessible Travel Policy obligations.
