Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what recent assessment he has made of the adequacy of accommodation volume within new probation contracts.
This question was answered on 9th October 2020
To establish volumes for new contracts being procured via the Probation Services Dynamic Framework, including accommodation services, we have drawn on existing data from probation services about offenders’ needs together with an assessment of future demand and needs. Final indicative contract values and volumes were shared with potential bidders ahead of the launch of the competition for accommodation services.
