To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many asylum claims have included reference to sexuality or gender identity in each year since 2011.

The Home Office remains committed to publishing information on the number of people claiming asylum on the basis of sexual orientation. Work is ongoing to assure the quality of the data for publication in line with reporting standards
