NHS England monitors the progress in achieving the following standard:

- A minimum 24% of patients requiring radical radiotherapy have access to inverse planned Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT).

NHS England monitors this standard as a three month rolling average. The latest data shows that 6,397 patients received IMRT during the period from December 2014 to February 2015, a proportion of 37% of patients requiring radical radiotherapy.

NHS England does not hold data centrally relating to the proportion of cancer patients receiving stereotactic radiotherapy.
