Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, pursuant to the Answer of 24 July 2017 to Question 5742, what the total amount was of GP practice service charges that were overdue in each of the last five financial years.
Information on the total amounts of general practitioner (GP) practice service charges that were overdue in each of the most recent financial years for which data is available is set out in the following table.

These are the total costs charged to GP tenants that are outstanding for the years since the two companies took on their head-tenant role upon the abolition of primary care trusts in 2013. Approximately half of this outstanding debt for both companies relates to reimbursable costs (rent, business rates, water rates and clinical waste collection).
