The Office of Rail and Road is responsible for monitoring train and station operators’ performance with Passenger Assist. According to the latest figure published by the Office for Rail and Road, in July 2020, 86% of the passengers surveyed were satisfied with their experience of Passenger Assist.

All train and station operators are required to promote Passenger Assist as part of their Accessible Travel Policy obligations. The Department included this requirement in the direct awards of both Great Western Railway and London Southeastern Railway.
