Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether she is taking steps to encourage the United Nations to assume direct operational oversight of humanitarian-aid delivery in Gaza.

I refer the Hon Member to the statement made by the Foreign Secretary to the House on 18 November 2025, regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Our position remains that only the United Nations and their partners can deliver the scale of aid required.
