Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 14 July 2015 to Question 5658 on Brazil: beath, after what date without a resolution his Department plans to intervene in that case.

We have made known our interest in this case with the Criminal Court, the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Public Prosecutor appointed to represent Mr Juwaheer’s interests. We will remain in contact with them until we see a resolution to this case. However, we cannot interfere in Brazil’s internal affairs, or the ongoing investigation.
