Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, whether he has plans to bring forward legislative proposals to tackle abuses in the leasehold sector.

The Housing White Paper states that the Government will act to promote fairness and transparency for leaseholders. It is our intention to consult, as soon as practicable, on proposals to reform leasehold.
