The Department has published advice to building owners on external wall systems (including cladding) from the Independent Expert Advisory Panel, of which the Chair of National Fire Chiefs Council is a member. The advice can be found at: www.gov.uk/government/publications/building-safety-advice-for-building-owners-including-fire-doors.
