Unemployment Benefits: Young People

Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many 18-21 year olds he has estimated would be affected by plans to replace out-of-work benefits for that age group with a youth allowance.

The detailed policy design of the Youth Allowance is still being developed. The information is therefore not yet available.
