Question

To ask the Minister for Women and Equalities, if she will make it her policy to increase the gender pay gap reporting threshold to firms with at least 500 employees.

Under the Gender Pay Gap Information Regulations 2017, organisations with 250 or more employees are required to report specific gender pay gap data on an annual basis. The threshold of 250 employees is set out within the Equality Act 2010 and there are no current plans for changes to be made to this legislation.
