Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, what estimate he has made of annual savings to the public purse of reducing the number of hon. Members from 650 to 600.

The most recent estimate, in June 2012, indicated that if the number of MPs were reduced from 650 to 600, the saving would be £13.6 million a year.
