Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether immigration enforcement information passed to her Department by hon. Members contravenes the Data Protection Act 1998.

The data passed by Members of Parliament to the Home Office does not contravene the Data Protection Act 1998 as information is passed with the consent of the constituent.
