Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how many staff in his Department are dedicated to South America.

The majority of FCDO staff working on South American issues are deployed in our large network of embassies and consulates around the region. In the UK,?staff across?a number of?FCDO directorates spend all or a part of their time working on issues concerning South American countries,?and our network in the continent. It is not possible to put a specific figure on this.
