Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many jobs will be created by Saab’s new facility in Lancashire.

The Ministry of Defence welcomes Saab's announcement that it is creating a specialist hub for its participation in the Future Combat Air Systems programme. While the details of the centre are a matter for Saab, the company has committed to opening it within the next year, bringing a range of valuable high-skilled jobs to the UK economy. We understand that Saab will make an announcement on the location of the centre, together with the number of associated jobs in due course.
