Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what representations he has made on recycling the retired Royal Navy submarines in Devonport as a stated objective of the Integrated Review.
This question was answered on 7th September 2020
We will not speculate on the outcome of the Integrated Review, but we remain committed to the disposal of our decommissioned submarines in a safe, secure, cost-effective and environmentally sound manner, as soon as practicably possible.
