HM Courts & Tribunals Service works very closely with representative bodies for the charitable sector, keeping them updated on current performance and sharing forecasting data on predicted receipt and grant issue volumes.
HM Courts & Tribunals Service has invested in more staff in 2026, alongside system and process improvements and a programme of upskilling in order further to improve the processing time for applications and ensure that the outstanding caseload does not increase.
The Ministry of Justice publishes regular data on probate grant volumes, timeliness and the open caseload in our quarterly Family Court statistics bulletin: Family Court Statistics Quarterly - GOV.UK
