Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:
To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what the net change was in the value of her Department's flood and coastal erosion risk management assets in each of the last five years; and what estimate she has made of the likely change in that value in each of the next five years.
The last full valuation of Environment Agency maintained flood and coastal erosion risk management infrastructure assets was done in 2010. They were valued at approximately £24 billion.
There are currently no immediate plans to revalue the assets.
