Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what plans he has to put in place scrutiny measures to independently evaluate the Government's Official Development Assistance expenditure.

This Government is committed to transparency and robust scrutiny of Official Development Assistance expenditure. On 29 August, the First Secretary announced that the Independent Commission for Aid Impact will continue its vital role supporting Parliament in the scrutiny of UK aid's impact.
