Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, if he will make an estimate of the change in the amount deducted from housing benefit claimants in Glasgow East constituency due to the removal of the spare room subsidy between February 2014 and May 2017.

As at February 2014, the amount deducted from housing benefit claimants in Glasgow East parliamentary constituency due to the removal of the spare room subsidy was 24.4 thousand pounds per week, rising to 30.4 thousand pounds per week, an increase of 6.1 thousand pounds per week.
