Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether his Department has provided relief to Govia Thameslink Railway from contractual payments against benchmark targets in the current franchise agreement for Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern passenger services.

The Department has not provided relief to Govia Thameslink Railway from contractual payments against its benchmark targets. The Department assesses any payments in accordance with the terms of the Franchise Agreement.
