The UK Health Security Agency’s (UKHSA) national and regional health protection teams provide advice, guidance and support to immigration centres, hotels and other asylum accommodation settings in response to alerts of infectious disease. This may include advice on infection prevention and control, contact tracing, isolation, prophylaxis, screening, vaccination and safe transfer of cases or contacts. National Health Service and Home Office services will be responsible for implementing these recommendations as applicable.
