Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, If he will take steps to implement the recommendations of the Social Security Advisory Committee in its report of 26 May 2022 on improving the transparency and external oversight of the managed migration phase of Universal Credit.

The Government response to SSAC’s recommendations was published, on 4^th July 2022, when the regulations were laid in parliament. The Department thanked the committee and noted all their recommendations. The letter reassured the committee that we have comprehensive governance and external engagement arrangements in place.
