Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether the British High Commission has invited Sri Lanka’s Chief of Army Staff to events at the High Commission in the last 12 months.

The British High Commission in Colombo has not invited the then Chief of Staff of the Army, and now Commander of the Sri Lankan Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva, to events at the British High Commission in the last 12 months.
